Life is full of difficult and challenging stuff, for want of a better phrase. Most human beings are resilient and adaptable enough to get through most of the ups and downs of life on our own, or at least with the help of friends or family, given a bit of time.
However, some circumstances and feelings are more complex and difficult to manage. You might feel stuck in a negative or self-destructive pattern of behaviour, unhappy in a relationship, feel overwhelmed or unable to cope with the stress of work, or just generally fed up alot of the time. Or you might have experienced a loss or another life-changing event which you need help making sense of, to understand more about its significance for you, so you can move on with your life.

What to expect
Counselling sessions are carried out on a regular basis (usually weekly) and provide a safe, confidential, non judgemental space for you to explore and work through your issues and concerns.
My role is in part to listen, understand, reflect, challenge, and work with you to unravel thoughts and feelings that can often feel stuck or confused, and to help you look at issues in a new light.
